Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stood at 132.55 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft) with an inflow of 611 cusecs and a discharge of 1,000 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level stood at 69.82 feet (maximum level is 71 ft) with an inflow of 725 cusecs and a discharge of 569 cusecs. The combined storage in Periyar credit was 10,081.57 mcft.
