Dustin Poirier’s last-ever Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fight ended on a disappointing note as he suffered a unanimous decision loss against Max Holloway in a BMF title fight on Sunday.
Holloway scored 48-47, 49-46, 49-46 to retain his belt. He has now won four of his last five fights, and his only loss came at the hands of current lightweight title holder Ilia Topuria at UFC 308.
In the co-main event, Paulo Costa secured a unanimous decision win over Roman Kopylov in a middleweight bout. The Brazilian got back to winning ways after suffering losses against Robert Whittaker and Sean Strickland.
