Compact and Ultra elegant wireless keyboard with Mechanical Switches
If you are on this page, you probably already know that membrane keyboards that come with laptops and desktops suck. Mechanical keyboards provide a much more enjoyable typing experience, as well as enable you to type a lot more accurately and faster.
The tactile click of a mechanical switch is a completely different experience than the mushy push of a membrane – but again, we are preaching to the choir here!
We believe you are here because while you would like to upgrade to a proper mechanical keyboard – but haven’t found one yet that does not look like a discotheque ball gone wild, is not tethered by wires or does not require a battery swap/ recharge every few weeks.
You asked – and we listened: Presenting the Varna Pro, a compact (60%) TKL keyboard that comes in an form factor that’s more than elegant for your work desk yet comes with all the awesomeness of a mechanical.

How to switch between different devices?
The Varna Pro can connect up to 3 wireless devices, press FN+Q to switch to 2.4G wireless mode, FN+W/E to switch to Bluetooth device 1 or Bluetooth device 2.

What switch type should I get?
The Varna Pro is available in Red Switch and Blue Switch options.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE COLOR SCHEMA OF THE KEYBOARD VARIES BY SWITCH TYPE – The Blue switch variant comes in a more playful Orange/White Gray Schema while the Red switch variant is Gray/Dark Gray with a splash of Orange on a single Key (Esc)
Blue Switches are Tactile switches with a noticeable bump partway through the keypress, which lets you know that you’ve activated the key. They tend to have noticeable clicks sound when you actuate the key.
Red switches are Linear switches with a smooth flow from press to actuation. The switches are silent in comparison to Blue and sound more like classic typewriters , albeit a little quieter.
While preference between the two is subjective, we have normally seen gamers opt for the Blue variants while working professionals tend to prefer Red.
What about the backlight/ RGB lighting?
Yes, we know a lot of gamers prefer RGB and backlight is always good to have.
However no mainstream wireless keyboard comes with lighting and for good reason.
A wired keyboard draws its power from the PC/laptop – which in turn is powered by the mains (AC) or a large battery.
Wireless Keyboards on the other hand have a limited power source. Adding lights would mean a significant drop in the available battery life – and no one wants to swap batteries or recharge them every few days.
The decision to omit lighting was a conscious call and helps ensure that you can continue to use your keyboard for many months or even a year + on a single battery pair.
Our wired optical mechanical and traditional mechanical keyboards (March 2024) come with a backlight / RGB . We do not intend to add lighting to our wireless keyboards unless there is a significant advancement in current battery technology.
