About the Book: “This book is meant for students of mechanical engineering and the maintenance workforce in industries. It gives the fundamental and practical knowledge of the most commonly encountered maintenance engineering problems. The book is prepared mainly from the exam point of view for students and as a general reference book. Industries and workshops may also find this book useful in day-to-day maintenance work of all machines.”
About the Author: “Shri. Raghuvir L. Chary Nachinolkar has completed post-graduation M.Tech. (Manufacturing Engineering) through IIT Bombay and has work experience of 32 years in engineering, to date. He is a Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) (IEI-India) Presently, he works at Government Polytechnic Panaji Goa, as a Lecturer (Selection Gr. II) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, since the year 1994. He worked as Projects Manager for Alfa- Laval (India) Ltd. Pune and a few other companies. He has to his credit two patents in mechanical engineering and has published a magazine SCHMITZS INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE FOR STARTUPS, INNOVATIONS, AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP in Aug. 2021. He has written a few more books on technical and non-technical subject matters.”
