The trailer of the much-anticipated controversial legal drama Janaki V v/s State of Kerala (formerly titled Janaki v/s State of Kerala and also marketed as JSK) is here, offering us a glimpse into her world.

But her life takes a sharp turn after an unfortunate incident. Now, with all eyes on her, she realises the legal battle ahead will be a lonely one, which she must face on her own. Just as she begins this uphill battle, a twist arrives. Renowned advocate David Abel Donovan (Suresh Gopi) steps in to lead the defence. From that moment, the trailer kicks into high gear.

“What’s happening here is an attempt to dismantle the pillars of justice — the court, the police and the legal system,” says one character. “Come what may, Janaki must get justice,” we hear another say. “No matter who tries to protect them, I will stand against them. And they will be crucified in the court of justice,” declares David, setting the tone for an intense courtroom showdown between good and evil.
