Deepika baked a chocolate cake to mark her daughter Dua’s first birthday. Actor couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone welcomed their daughter Dua on September 8 last year, and thus this seems to be a late post by Deepika.

Deepika Padukone shared a picture of the cake that she baked on her daughter’s first birthday. The doting mom posted the photo on her official Instagram account, marking her baby girl’s special day. Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone haven’t revealed the face of their daughter Dua yet.

Deepika’s shared post features a delicious looking chocolate cake placed on a table with a golden coloured candle placed in the center. We can also seen some beautiful flower decoration in the background. Deepika Padukone captioned her post as, “My love language? Baking a cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday!🎈 🧿 🎈.”

Reacting to the post, Bipasha Basu wrote, “Happy 1 Dua & Baby Mama & papa 🩷🧿,” while actor Kajal Aggarwal wrote, “Aww happy 1st Dua and parents! ❤️.” Some fan reactions are also flooding eh comment section, which reads as, “Dua Face Reveal please 🥺 🙌❤️,” “A year already? 🥺, and “Lot’s of love to my li’l dua ❤️🧿.”

Deepika and her husband Ranveer Singh welcomed their first born, a baby girl, on September 8 last year. They took to Instagram on September 8,2024 to officially announce the arrival and wrote: “Welcome baby girl 8.9.2024… Deepika and Ranveer.” Deepika and Ranveer had announced that they are set to become parents in February 2024.

On November 1, 2024, the couple revealed that their daughter has been named Dua and also shared that the word “Dua” means “a prayer” and said that their daughter is the “Answer to our Prayers”.

Last December, the couple Ranveer and Deepika had invited the paparazzi to introduce their daughter formally. For months, the paparazzi had been requesting the couple to present Dua, and the duo finally obliged by hosting them at their residence.
