Emily in Paris Reveals First Look at Season 5 After Camille Razat’s Surprise Exit
Emily Cooper is saying “ciao” to a chic new city.
Netflix has revealed the first look at season five of Emily in Paris, which teases Lily Collins‘ titular character exploring Venice, Italy for the very first time.
In several photos—released Aug. 20—Collins’ Emily is dressed to the nines while touring the European hot spot’s canal waterways on one of their famous gondolas, but also on foot as she takes in the iconic scenery.
It also appears Emily’s romance with love interest Marcello (played by Eugenio Franceschini) is going strong (for now) after her breakups from Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) and Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). The two are seen horseback riding and getting close while taking a romantic stroll together.
Of course, Emily’s BFF Mindy (Ashley Park) and work family Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), Luc (Bruno Gouery) and Julien (Samuel Arnold) are also back for both personal and professional support.
As for what drama fans can expect from season five, Netflix teased in their preview, “Now the head of Agence Grateau Rome, Emily faces professional and romantic challenges as she adapts to life in a new city. But just as everything falls into place, a work idea backfires and the fallout cascades into heartbreak and career setbacks.”
