It’s easy to point fingers and blame others without acknowledging your part in the events.
Abdicating responsibility to your management is surrendering your authority.
Doing less than your best and expecting to be chosen falls into the realm of “you deserve to not be chosen.”
Blaming “politics” for why your ideas were not selected when you didn’t sell them well or were distracted during your presentation.
Winners find the way to win. Losers have excuses.
If you focus on winning the situation, you will be chosen far more often and lose your excuses.
