The football season is finally set to come to an end with Chelsea taking on Paris Saint-Germain in the final of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey on Sunday (July 14 in IST).
The revamped edition being held in the USA has not only seen changes in the format and number of teams but has also seen changes in the form of individual player walkouts, body cams for referees and more.
One feature that has been added to the tournament is the halftime show during the final, which is a major part of American sporting history, especially the Super Bowl – the championship game of the National Football League.

Jose Alvaro Osorio Balvin, known widely as J Balvin, is a singer who hails from Colombia and is one of the best-selling Latin artists in the world (35 million records sold worldwide).
Amala Ratna Zandile Dlamini, aka Doja Cat, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. She has won one Grammy Award and has been nominated nineteen times.
The final artist in the lineup is Tems (Temilade Openiyi), a singer, songwriter, and record producer hailing from Nigeria. She has won two Grammy Awards for her works.
The program is being conducted in partnership with the international education and advocacy organisation Global Citizen. The performance will be curated by Chris Martin of Coldplay to support the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund, which aims to raise USD 100 million to improve access to quality education.
