Ministers P. Narayana (Municipal Administration & Urban Development) and B.C. Janardhan Reddy (R&B and Infrastructure & Investments) met LG Chemicals Chairman Shin Hak Cheol and his team at the company’s headquarters in Seoul on Monday as part of the Andhra Pradesh government’s efforts to attract investments.
They urged Mr. Shin to explore investment opportunities in Andhra Pradesh and invited him to participate in the CII Partnership Summit, scheduled to be held in Visakhapatnam on November 14–15.
Later, the Ministers held a meeting with senior executives of LS Group, South Korea’s largest company in electronics, energy, and cable manufacturing. Earlier in the day, Mr. Narayana and Mr. Janardhan Reddy also met officials at the Indian Embassy in Seoul, including Deputy Chief of Mission Nishi Kant Singh and First Secretary Sanjana Arya.
They were accompanied by Special Chief Secretary (Transport, Roads & Buildings) M.T. Krishna Babu, Principal Secretary (Finance) Peeyush Kumar, and senior officers of the Andhra Pradesh Economic Development Board.
