Hunter Doohan is clarifying where he stands with Jenna Ortega.
The Wednesday actor shut down rumors regarding his absence from the show’s season two premiere in London in July, which some fans speculated had to do with his costar as well as his husband, Fielder Jewett.
“I saw one rumor Jenna didn’t allow me to go, which is so not true,” Hunter said in a preview of the Sept. 9 episode of the I’ve Never Said This Before podcast, obtained by Us Weekly. “There was a rumor that my husband didn’t let me go because he was jealous of Jenna and I. I was like, ‘You guys, can we please be so f–king for real right now?’”
The 31-year-old further clarified the matter, adding, “My husband, for the record, did not tell me not to go to the Wednesday premiere because he’s jealous of Jenna and I. Grow up.”
