The subject “Electrical Maintenance” is one of the vocational subjects for Higher Secondary Standard XII. The students find very difficult to collect the matter for preparing this subject and they have to refer so many books. The students also get confused as to what depth they have to study the particular topic of the subject. I have taken pains to see that all the things included in XII standard (Electrical) syllabus have been explained in detail and in the very simple manner and in the lucid language. With this, I feel that one of the greatest handicaps from which the student has been suffering i.e. the lack of a single book dealing with all the topics included in the syllabus, has been removed. In this new edition, a new topic is added to cover some miscellaneous articles.
